James Horne, President & CEO, Junior Achievement of NJ

Before heading JANJ as president & CEO, James Horne was president & CEO of United Way of Greater Union County for 17 years. During his career, Horne has created an extraordinary record of developing strong community partnerships, increasing organizational efficiencies, building and retaining board members, and financial competence. He works hard to maintain a balance of dedication to mission and the need for bold entrepreneurial initiatives.

horneHorne’s favorite TV show is “Law and Order,” and during football season, he roots for the Baltimore Ravens. The last concert he attended was the Newport Jazz Festival and he enjoys listening to the music of pianist Robert Glasper.

The most recent book Horne read was “The Fourth Quarter of Your Life” by Allen Hunt and Matthew Kelly. “I enjoyed the perspectives on life and legacy planning,” he says of the book.

Jaclyn (Jaci) Kator, Regional VP, External Affairs, AT&T in NJ

As regional vice president external affairs for AT&T in New Jersey, Jaclyn (Jaci) Kator works with government entities, elected officials, and community stakeholders on AT&T’s policy, strategic, and community initiatives at the state and local level. 

katorA baseball fan who hails from Chicago, Kator says there is no better place to watch a game than Wrigley Field. A Chicago Cubs fan her entire life, she takes pride in the fact that her son has developed a passion for baseball and the Cubs. By the way, the Kator family dog is named Wrigley.

Kator has also been a New Kids on the Block fan since she was 10 years old and has been to many of their shows across the country – even their cruises. “Their music transports me back to my childhood and the great memories I have of growing up in the ‘80s,” Kator explains.
