Designed to foster collaboration, the site connects businesses, academic institutions, and entrepreneurs, promoting greater academic-business partnerships. 

Enhanced Education via AI

Rutgers Business School is partnering with Google Public Sector and Slalom to provide students and educators with the ability to experience the power of generative AI. The collaboration will afford students and faculty access to Google Cloud AI, a single place to discover, customize, and deploy more than 150 foundation models from Google and its partners such as Meta’s Llama, Anthropic’s Claude, and Google’s Gemini.

Giving AI the Ability to Feel 

Researchers in Stevens’ Center for Quantum Science and Engineering (CQSE) demonstrate a method of giving AI the ability to feel. Yong Meng Sua, CQSE Director Yuping Huang, Daniel Tafone and Luke McEvoy devised a quantum-lab setup that combines a photon-firing scanning laser with new algorithmic AI models trained to tell the differences among various surfaces as they are imaged with those lasers. 

Strategic Innovation Center

The New Jersey Economic Development Authority (NJEDA) and the New Jersey Innovation Institute (NJII), a corporation of the New Jersey Institute of Technology (NJIT), launch the NJII Venture Studio, the state’s latest Strategic Innovation Center (SIC). The NJII Venture Studio will focus on accelerating and commercializing intellectual property with a focus on high technology and information technology.
