Lightbridge Academy, one of the nation’s fastest-growing early childhood education franchises, achieves a 95% proficiency rate in kindergarten readiness. The results, based on the 2024–2025 Vine Assessment of four- and five-year-olds enrolled in Lightbridge Academy’s pre-K programs, highlight the strength of the brand’s proprietary whole-child educational approach
“We’re proud to share that 95% of our students demonstrate proficiency in Kindergarten readiness skills, which is an achievement that reflects the dedication of our teachers and our students’ incredible desire to learn each day,” said Gigi Schweikert, CEO of Lightbridge Academy. “Families can feel confident knowing their children are in the hands of passionate educators and are thriving in a nurturing environment with an advanced, research-based curriculum that sets the stage for future academic success.”
This school year’s results showcase an increase in readiness results from the fall to spring assessments including a 33% rise in social studies, a 31% increase in literacy knowledge and skills, along with a 29% jump in mathematics and science.
Lightbridge Academy’s proprietary Seedlings Early Childhood Education Curriculum utilizes theme-based lessons to strengthen children’s emerging skills in reading, writing, science, technology and math.
The brand is also taking its learning one step further by partnering with Marco Polo Learning to extend the learning to enrolled preschool and pre-K children and families at-home via Marco Polo for Families. Through this partnership, families will be a part of their child’s learning through an educational, interactive app that strengthens the home-school learning connection.
Lightbridge Academy partnered with Procare’s Vine Assessment to enable its teachers to observe and assess the developmental milestones each child achieves throughout the year. Utilizing the Vine Assessment, teachers actively observed and assessed children in the areas of Mathematics, Science, Literacy Knowledge & Skills, Language & Communication, Social/Emotional, Perception, Motor & Physical, Creative & Cultural Arts, and overall approaches to Learning. The Vine Assessment is a developmentally appropriate early childhood assessment that aligns with the common core standards across all 50 states to ensure children’s success in their future elementary years.
