NJ Hospital Association Names DāSTOR Strategic Technology Partner

Wilmington, Delaware-based DāSTOR LLC has been selected as a strategic partner with the New Jersey Hospital Association (NJHA), providing infrastructure, backup and data management services for NJHA members. Through this partnership, DāSTOR will deliver its solutions to help hospitals and health systems safeguard their data, meet regulatory requirements and embrace the next wave of AI-driven healthcare innovation.

At the center of the partnership is DāSTOR’s Scout™,  a data governance and optimization platform that helps hospitals protect electronic Protected Health Information (ePHI), manage unstructured data, and control storage costs. Scout™ classifies, cleans, and secures data to reduce risk, strengthen HIPAA compliance, and support accurate AI outcomes. By improving data quality and limiting exposure, Scout™ is expected to help healthcare organizations protect sensitive information, reduce unnecessary infrastructure spend, and build a stronger foundation for reliable AI and analytics initiatives.

“Healthcare data environments are among the most complex and highly regulated,” said Kevin Mulqueen, founder and CEO of DāSTOR. “Through our partnership with NJHA, we are helping member hospitals gain greater control over their data, reduce risk exposure, and strengthen the integrity of their systems. Scout™ allows organizations to remediate aged or redundant data, ensure ePHI is properly governed, and achieve better security and accuracy in the outcomes that follow.”

The collaboration supports NJHA’s focus on advancing technology and innovation across its member hospitals. In addition to Scout™, DāSTOR will provide its hybrid cloud, colocation, and disaster recovery services to NJHA members, offering scalable options to improve data resilience and operational confidence.

Cathy Bennett, president and CEO of NJHA, shared, “Protecting patient information and ensuring data integrity are top priorities for every hospital in our membership. Partnering with DāSTOR gives our members access to practical tools that simplify data management, support HIPAA compliance, and enable hospitals to move forward with greater trust in their information and AI-driven initiatives.”

The partnership will begin rolling out to NJHA member organizations in the coming months, with ScoutTM serving as the initial focus before expanding to include DāSTOR’s full range of services.
