SAX Acquires SCL Consulting

Parsippany-based SAX, a Top 100 national accounting, tax, and advisory firm, has announced that SCL Consulting has entered into an agreement to join SAX LLP and SAX Advisory Group LLC, effective Nov. 14.

Founded in 2014 by Shane Lease, SCL Consulting is a Maryland-based financial consulting firm that has spent more than a decade delivering accounting and advisory solutions. The firm is widely recognized for its strength in Client Accounting Services (CAS) and for cultivating long-term relationships built on integrity and results.

The partnership strengthens one of SAX’s fastest-growing disciplines—Client Accounting Services—and expands the firm’s Mid-Atlantic presence.

This transaction marks another milestone in SAX’s strategic expansion following its minority investment from Cobepa, an independent investment company. The Cobepa partnership continues to accelerate SAX’s growth trajectory—enhancing service capabilities, deepening resources, and supporting the firm’s mission to deliver exceptional value to clients across industries.

As a result of this integration, SAX now comprises 70 partners and 389 total employees, with a presence across five offices in New Jersey, New York, and Mumbai, India, and a remote workforce spanning 30 U.S. states.
