FIFA NYNJ Host Committee Launches Rewards Program to Help Businesses

The FIFA World Cup 2026 New York New Jersey Host Committee has launched the Welcome World Rewards Program, a small business rewards platform designed to connect World Cup visitors directly to local businesses across the region.

The free platform rewards fans for exploring local businesses throughout the tournament across all 21 New Jersey counties and New York City’s five boroughs. Fans can check in, earn points, and unlock prizes. The NYNJ Host Committee will offer up to eight opportunities for participants to attend FIFA World Cup matches as guests of the NYNJ Host Committee — including the Final match at New York New Jersey Stadium on July 19. Businesses opt in at no cost, offer a simple deal or promotion, and get discovered by millions of World Cup visitors.

Details:

  • Join for free — Businesses opt in through a free application process to be featured on the Welcome World Rewards platform as a go-to spot for World Cup fans.
  • Get discovered — fans use the platform to find places to eat, shop, and explore nearby.
  • Drive real foot traffic — visitors earn rewards for checking in at participating businesses.
  • Offer a simple incentive — a game-day special, discount, or offer of your choice.
  • Benefit from bigger rewards — the Host Committee is working to offer high-value prizes (including potential match tickets) to drive participation.

Businesses can apply now 🔗 through May 15th and can also attend the Get World Cup Ready: Google Business Profile Virtual Workshop on April 14th. 🔗 Participants will receive a digital welcome kit with setup support and promotional assets to help them get started.

The program is designed to ensure that the World Cup’s projected $3.3 billion economic impact reaches neighborhoods across the entire region. The opportunity will help local businesses be part of one of the most watched events in the world.
