Video: NJBIA Honors Standout Business Leaders and Legislators

Eight executives, including four pro-business legislators, received awards at NJBIA’s recent sold-out Public Policy Forum, where the honorees were recognized for their outstanding leadership and dedication to making New Jersey a better place to do business.

• Lynn Nowak – Executive Vice President, Porzio Governmental Affairs  
• Barbara DeMarco – Vice President, Porzio Governmental Affairs 
• Denise Beckson, Vice President/Chief Administrative & External Affairs Officer, Morey’s Piers & Beachfront Water Parks  
• Ward Sanders, President, New Jersey Association of Health Plans   
• Assemblyman Gerry Scharfenberger (R-13)   
• Senate President Nicholas Scutari (D-22)  
• Assemblyman William Spearman (D-5)   
• Senator Latham Tiver (R-8)  

The Public Policy Forum, held on Jan. 30 in Princeton, also featured a keynote by Gov. Mikie Sherrill before 450 attendees and a C-suite panel discussion with leading New Jersey executives about the state’s economic challenges and opportunities in 2026.
